Soccer Game Preview: North Kitsap vs. Bainbridge

The North Kitsap Vikings will head out on the road to square off against the Bainbridge Spartans at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Each of these teams will be fighting to keep a win streak alive as North Kitsap comes in on five and Bainbridge on nine.

North Kitsap barely beat Bremerton the last time the pair played, but that sure wasn't the case this time around. The Vikings never let the Knights get on the board and left with a 6-0 victory on Tuesday. The result was nothing new for North Kitsap, who have now won six matchups by three goals or more so far this season.

Meanwhile, Bainbridge got the win against Olympic on Tuesday by a conclusive 7-1. Bainbridge are also no stranger to big wins: their blowout was the ninth game they've won by 3+ goals this season.

North Kitsap's win was their fourth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 8-1. Those road victories came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only given up zero goals over those four contests. As for Bainbridge, their win bumped their record up to 9-0.

North Kitsap skirted past Bainbridge 1-0 in their previous matchup back in April of 2024. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Vikings since the team won't have the home-pitch advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
