Basketball Recap: Lake Placid Takes a Loss

Lake Placid played against McKeel Academy and lost via forfeit.

Lake Placid's loss was their eighth straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 2-13. Even worse, they were so close so many times: the defeats came by an average of only 10.13 points. As for McKeel Academy, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 8-10.

Lake Placid wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next game, a 1-0 loss against Frostproof on the 30th. As for McKeel Academy, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 53-27 win against Fort Meade on the 30th.
