Baseball Recap: Colfax Comes Up Short

Colfax was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They fell 10-7 to the El Dorado Cougars.

Garrett Lewis made the most of his time at bat despite the final result and scored two runs and stole a base while going 2-for-4. Austin Liden was another key player, scoring three runs while getting on base in three of his five plate appearances.

Colfax's loss dropped their record down to 9-8. As for El Dorado, their win ended a three-game drought on the road and puts them at 11-10.

Looking ahead, Colfax will venture away from home to face off against Twelve Bridges at 3:30 p.m. on Friday. As for El Dorado, they will host Amador at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
