Recap: Tyrone vs. Grandfield
Grandfield had home field advantage when it faced off against Southwest Covenant two games ago, but the team wasn't able to capitalize. No surprise then that heading on the road didn't bring a better result. Grandfield simply didn't have it, losing 76 - 30 to Tyrone. The blowout was painful but not necessarily a surprise as Tyrone is ranked 29th in the MaxPreps nationional rankings, many places higher than Grandfield.
The win put an added shine on Tyrone's spotless record, now 10-0. The defeat dropped Grandfield's record to 2-7. The loss is only the most recent in a discouraging three-game streak.
The Tyrone squad is out to improve its record as its season nears the end. Tyrone is set to face off against Paoli in a playoff match this Friday at 7:30 PM. Tyrone marches into the match with the support of seven consecutive landslide victories.
