Recap: Ranchview Wolves vs. Anna Coyotes
The Ranchview Wolves won a close one the last time they played, but unfortunately they suffered a serious change of fortune on Friday. They were beaten by Anna 71-33. Ranchview has struggled against Anna recently, as their match on Friday was their fourth consecutive lost matchup.
Brandon Webber continued his habit of posting crazy stat lines for Anna, scoring 17 points along with seven rebounds and five assists. The team also got some help courtesy of Reece Snodgrass, who scored 14 points along with three steals.
Ranchview has traveled a rocky road recently having lost eight of their last nine contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 9-19 record this season. As for Anna, their victory ended a six-game drought on the road and puts them at 17-14.
Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Ranchview will square off against Celina at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Ranchview will have to bring their A-game into this one, as they are staring down a pretty big deficit in the MaxPreps Texas Rankings (they are ranked 710th, while Celina is ranked 318th). Anna is on the road again on Tuesday and plays Aubrey at 7:30 p.m. on February 13th. Hopefully Anna focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up nine on Friday.
