It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Union County can now relate to. They lost 3-0 to the Centerville Bulldogs on Saturday. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest defeat the Patriots have suffered since September 16th.

While Union County had to settle for second, they sure made a game of it, scoring at least 21 points in every set they played. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-23, 25-21, 25-23.

When it comes to explaining why Union County lost, don't look at Katie Mccashland. Despite the final result, she had 28 digs and three aces. That's the most aces Mccashland has posted in her last nine contests.
