Baseball Recap: Hope Comes Up Short

Hope was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their 24th straight defeat dating back to last season. They took a 6-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Camden Fairview Cardinals. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Cardinals this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 13-0 last Tuesday.

Hope's loss dropped their record down to 0-16. As for Camden Fairview, the win was the fourth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 8-9.

We've got plenty of inter-conference action coming up soon. Hope is set to face off against their familiar foe Nashville at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Meanwhile, Camden Fairview will take on rival Magnolia at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
