Volleyball Recap: Queen's Grant Comes Up Short + How To Watch

After flying high against Bonnie Cone Leadership Academy on Monday, Queen's Grant came back down to earth. The Stallions lost 3-0 to the Carmel Christian Cougars on Tuesday. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Stallions of the 3-0 loss they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in September of 2023.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-11, 25-18, 25-15.

Ava Spratt was the offensive standout of the match as she had five digs and three aces. That's the most aces she has posted since back in August. Annalee Danford also deserves some recognition as she had her first block of the season.

Queen's Grant's defeat was their eighth straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 4-11. As for Carmel Christian, their victory bumped their record up to 3-6.

Queen's Grant didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 3-0 loss against Piedmont Community Charter on the 18th. As for Carmel Christian, they will venture away from home to face off against Rabun Gap-Nacoochee at 4:30 p.m. on Friday. The Eagles will roll in looking for their fourth straight win, something the Cougars surely won't give up without a fight.
