Volleyball Game Preview: Griffin Bears vs. Jackson Jaguars

Griffin is 0-4 against Jackson since August of 2022 but things could change on Tuesday. The Bears will face off against the Jaguars at 5:30 p.m.

On Thursday, Griffin came up short against Callaway and fell 2-0.

Meanwhile, Jackson sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 2-1 win over Morrow on Monday.

The match was a true back-and-forth as no team won consecutive sets, but in the end it was Jackson who won the one that mattered. The match finished with set scores of 25-17, 25-27, 15-11.

Griffin now has a losing record of 1-2. As for Jackson, their victory was their fourth straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 1-1.

Griffin couldn't quite get it done against Jackson in their previous meeting back in August of 2024 as they fell 2-0. Can the Bears avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
