Football Recap: Ralston Valley Takes Down Mountain Vista in a Playoff Battle + How To Watch

Ralston Valley extended their postseason success on Saturday against Mountain Vista. They skirted past the Golden Eagles 31-28. The Mustangs haven't had any issues with the Golden Eagles recently, as the game was their fourth consecutive win against them.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Ralston Valley to victory, but perhaps none more so than Levi Rillos, who rushed for 114 yards and two scores on only 11 carries. Nico Benallo did his part to keep the secondary busy, picking up 98 receiving yards.

Several Golden Eagles players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Hudson Modrzewski, who rushed for 79 yards and a pair of TDs, and also caught one touchdown. Another player making a difference was Marquise Reese, who threw for 232 yards and a pair of TDs.

Ralston Valley's record now sits at 13-0. As for Mountain Vista, their defeat was their first of the season and makes their record 12-1.

Coming up, Ralston Valley will take on Cherry Creek at 5:00 p.m. on Saturday. The Bruins' defense has only allowed 10.3 points per game this season, so the Mustangs' offense will have their work cut out for them. Mountain Vista does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
