New Hampton won the last time they faced Charles City and things went their way on Thursday too. The Chickasaws sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 2-1 victory over the Comets.

New Hampton was actually outscored in aggregate across those three sets (63-60), but they still managed to win. The match finished with set scores of 25-21, 16-25, 19-17.

The win got New Hampton back to even at 2-2.

Coincidentally, New Hampton and Charles City will both be playing Denver the next time they take the court. The Chickasaws will host the Cyclones at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday, while the Comets will play them later in the day, at 7:00 p.m.
