Basketball Recap: International Academy Phoenix vs. Bendle Tigers
International Academy was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their sixth straight loss dating back to last season. They fell 47-35 to the Bendle Tigers. Bendle's win was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Kendra Waller, who had 17 points along with three steals. Emily Howard was another key player, earning eight points in addition to 11 rebounds and three steals.
International Academy's loss dropped their record down to 0-3. As for Bendle, their victory (their first of the season) made their record 1-2.
