Basketball Recap: Florence Comes Up Short

Florence was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their sixth straight loss. They took a blow against the Niagara Badgers, falling 81-53. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Badgers this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 78-59 last Tuesday.

Florence's defeat dropped their record down to 6-14. As for Niagara, they are on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four contests, which provided a nice bump to their 12-5 record this season.

Coming up, Florence will face off against Three Lakes at 7:15 p.m. on Thursday. Florence is facing Three Lakes at the right time seeing as Three Lakes is stuck on a three-game losing streak. As for Niagara, they have already played their next match, a 66-34 win against Wausaukee on the 11th.
