Basketball Recap: New Richmond Takes a Loss

New Richmond was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They fell 72-60 to the Menomonie Mustangs. Despite running the score up even higher than they did in their prior game last Tuesday (56), the Tigers still had to take the loss.

New Richmond's loss dropped their record down to 4-7. As for Menomonie, the win (which was their fourth in a row) raised their record to 7-5.

New Richmond will face off against Hudson at 7:15 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Menomonie, they didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 55-45 victory against Onalaska on the 11th.
