Basketball Recap: Fisher Snags Fourth Victory in Last Five Games

Fisher won the last time they faced International and things went their way on Tuesday too. The Fisher Gators' defense stepped up to hand the International Panthers a 2-0 shutout. The two-point effort marked the Gators' lowest-scoring contest of the season, but in the end it didn't matter.

Fisher has been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five matches, which provided a nice bump to their 5-3 record this season. As for International, their loss was their sixth straight at home, which dropped their record down to 2-15.

Fisher and Livingston Collegiate Academy will face off at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday without much rest having both just played. As for International, a feisty cat fight is on tap when the International Panthers face off against the GEO Next Generation Tigers at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday. International has insisted on making their lastsix contests complete nail-biters, turning in a record of 0-6 during that stretch of close contests.
