Football Recap: Mason Evans Key Part of Team Effort in Tigers Win

Crescent won the last time they faced Liberty and things went their way on Friday too. The Tigers walked away with a 34-27 victory over the Red Devils. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Tigers.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Crescent to victory, but perhaps none more so than Mason Evans, who threw for 202 yards and a pair of touchdowns while completing 75% of his passes, and also rushed for 37 yards and one score. The Tigers' leading receiver Amiri Acker was Evans' top target yet again, picking up 132 receiving yards and a pair of TDs.

Crescent now has a winning record of 3-2. As for Liberty, the defeat snapped their winning streak at four games and leaves them with a 4-2 record.
