Softball Recap: Reeds Spring Has No Trouble Against Greenfield

After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Marionville, Reeds Spring was happy to have turned things around on Thursday. They were the clear victors by a 17-2 margin over the Greenfield Wildcats.

The team relied heavily on Emma Vance, who went a perfect 4-for-4 with two triples, three runs, and three RBI. Another player making a difference was Trinity Clevenger, who scored two runs and stole a base while going 3-for-3.

Reeds Spring now has a winning record of 2-1. As for Greenfield, they are on a six-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-2.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Reeds Spring will face off against Buffalo at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Greenfield, they will venture away from home to take on Fordland at 5:00 p.m. on Friday.
