Basketball Recap: Hillman's Win on Thursday Extends Winning Streak to Four

Hillman put another one in the bag on Thursday to keep their perfect season alive. They came out on top against the Tawas Area Braves by a score of 49-40. For the Tigers, this counts as revenge for the 66-52 win the Braves walked away with the last time they faced one another back in December of 2024.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Hillman to victory, but perhaps none more so than Eddie Prue, who dropped a double-double with 16 points and 15 boards. The matchup was Prue's third in a row with at least 16 points. Another player making a difference was Evan Crane, who dropped a double-double with 12 points and ten rebounds.

Hillman's victory bumped their record up to 4-0.

Hillman will take on Whittemore-Prescott in a holiday battle at 7:30 p.m. on Monday. As for Tawas Area, they won't have much time to rest: their next contest is against Alpena at 7:30 p.m. on Friday.
