Softball Recap: Olney Comes Up Short

Olney fell victim to Maritime Academy Charter and their airtight pitching crew on Tuesday. They came up short against the Seadogs, falling 7-0. Having soared to a lofty ten runs in the game before, the Trojans' shutout was a dramatic turnaround.

Olney is on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-6. As for Maritime Academy Charter, the victory (which was their fourth in a row) raised their record to 4-3.

Looking ahead, Olney will be playing at home against Murrell Dobbins Vo-Tech at 3:15 p.m. on Wednesday. Olney is facing Murrell Dobbins Vo-Tech at the right time seeing as Murrell Dobbins Vo-Tech is stuck on a four-game losing streak. As for Maritime Academy Charter, they will face off against Prep Charter at 3:15 p.m. on Thursday. The Seadogs will need to watch out since the Huskies have now posted at least ten runs every time they've taken the field this season.
