McComb suffers fourth straight loss at home

Recap: McComb vs. Richland
McComb's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Monday after their third straight loss. They fell just short of Richland by a score of 3-2. The result was an unpleasant reminder to McComb of the 7-0 loss they experienced in the two teams' previous head-to-head fixture back in December of 2023.
Ryan Harvey wasn't going to let Richland walk away with an easy win as he scored all 11 of McComb's goals With that big game, he's now up to 11 scores this season.
McComb's defeat was their fourth straight at home, which bumped their record down to 6-6. Those good results were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 5.0 goals per game. As for Richland, they have been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five matches, which provided a nice bump to their 15-6-3 record this season.
McComb will look to defend their home pitch on Wednesday against Raymond at 7:00 p.m. Raymond is still on the hunt for that elusive first 'W'. As for Richland, they will head out on the road to square off against Hartfield Academy at 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
