The Garden City Trojans put another one in the bag on Friday to keep their perfect season alive. They beat Mepham by the very same score they won with last week: 42-0. Fans of Garden City have seen this all before: every one of the games they've played this season ended as a blowout.

Garden City's win was their 11th straight at home (dating back to last season), bumping their overall record up to 9-0. It's not like the team was facing easy opposition over that stretch either, as it included 9-1 Carey and 7-3 Long Beach (their opponents had an average overall winning percentage of 55.2% over those games). As for Mepham, they are on a six-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-7.

Garden City will face off against New Hyde Park Memorial at 1:30 p.m. on Saturday.
