Basketball Recap: Max Harper Key Part of Team Effort in Ravens Win

Riverfield Country Day had already proven themselves in the regular season and they didn't miss a beat now that it's playoff time. They came out on top against the Weleetka Outlaws by a score of 43-34 on Monday. Given the Ravens' advantage in MaxPreps' Oklahoma basketball rankings (they are ranked 169th in Oklahoma, while the Outlaws are ranked 358th in Oklahoma), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Riverfield Country Day's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Max Harper led the charge by going 5-for-8 en route to 16 points. What's more, Harper also posted a 67% three-point shooting accuracy, which is the highest he's achieved since back in November of 2024. Another player making a difference was Parker Corbin, who posted nine points.

The victory made it two in a row for Riverfield Country Day and bumps their season record up to 16-6. As for Weleetka, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 11-8.

Riverfield Country Day wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next match, a 54-46 loss against Wright City on the 27th. Weleetka does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
