Baseball Game Preview: Smidt Tech Grey Wolves vs. Camino Nuevo Dalzell Lance Campus Tigers

The Smidt Tech Grey Wolves are taking a road trip to take on the Camino Nuevo Dalzell Lance Campus Tigers at 2:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The two teams have had a bumpy ride up to this point with nine consecutive losses apiece dating back to last season.

Smidt Tech fought the good fight in their extra-innings match against University Prep Value on Friday but wound up with a less-than-desirable result. They fell just short of the Wolves by a score of 12-11. One positive for the Grey Wolves, at least, is that this was the most points they've scored all season.

Meanwhile, Camino Nuevo Dalzell Lance Campus came up short against Rise Kohyang on Thursday and fell 12-8.

Smidt Tech's loss dropped their record down to 0-7. As for Camino Nuevo Dalzell Lance Campus, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-2.

Everything went Smidt Tech's way against Camino Nuevo Dalzell Lance Campus in their previous meeting back in April of 2024, as Smidt Tech made off with a 12-3 win. The rematch might be a little tougher for Smidt Tech since the team won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
