Payton Simmons put up the most hits he's had since back in February on Friday. He scored three runs and stole three bases while getting on base in all four of his plate appearances, good enough for us to rate the performance as the best he's had all season long. He has become a key player for Odem: the team is undefeated when he posts at least two runs, but 6-7 otherwise.

Coming up, Simmons and Odem will take on George West at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. The last time Simmons duked it out with George West (two weeks ago), Odem came out on top by a score of 3-2.
