Football Game Preview: Baldwin Indians vs. Bishop Snyder Cardinals

The Baldwin Indians will square off against the Bishop Snyder Cardinals at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The two teams have allowed few points on average (Baldwin 11.5, Bishop Snyder 8.9) so any points scored will be well earned.

On Wednesday, Baldwin needed a bit of extra time to put away Baker County. They secured a 19-13 W over the Wildcats. The victory was some much needed relief for the Indians as it spelled an end to their three-game losing streak.

Baldwin didn't go easy on the quarterback and picked off three passes before the game was over. The picks came courtesy of Skylair Asberry and Memphis Perkins. With that strong performance, Perkins is now averaging an impressive 5.2 total tackles per game.

Meanwhile, Bishop Snyder was within striking distance but couldn't close the gap on Tuesday as they fell 13-9 to West Nassau.

Baldwin's win bumped their record up to 5-8. As for Bishop Snyder, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost three of their last four games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 5-4 record this season.

Baldwin came up short against Bishop Snyder when the teams last played last Thursday, falling 6-0. Can the Indians avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
