Basketball Game Preview: Glenwood Titans vs. Civic Memorial Eagles

Having just played yesterday, the Glenwood Titans will get right back to it and host the Civic Memorial Eagles at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Both come into the game bolstered by wins in their previous matches.

On Tuesday, Glenwood earned a 44-37 win over Normal West. Given the Titans' advantage in MaxPreps' Illinois basketball rankings (they are ranked 85th, while the Wildcats are ranked 241st), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Meanwhile, Civic Memorial didn't have too much trouble with Teutopolis on Monday as they won 58-41.

Civic Memorial's victory was their fourth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 16-2. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 53.5 points per game. As for Glenwood, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 11-6.
