Bangor barely beat Eau Claire the last time the pair played, but that sure wasn't the case this time around. The Vikings blew past the Beavers 16-1 on Saturday. The result was nothing new for the Vikings, who have now won nine matches by ten runs or more so far this season.

Carson Pullins made a big impact no matter where he played. On the mound, he pitched four innings while giving up just one earned run off five hits. He has become a key player for Bangor: the team is undefeated when he allows at most one earned run, but 9-15 otherwise. Pullins was also stellar in the batter's box, going 3-for-4 with one home run, three stolen bases, and three runs. Those three hits gave him a new career-high.

In other batting news, Bangor got a massive performance out of Zach Mann, who went 2-for-3 with four stolen bases, two runs, and one RBI. That's the most stolen bases Mann has posted over his last 12 games. Another player making a difference was Jaxon Webb, who got on base in all three of his plate appearances with three runs and two RBI.

Bangor always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .700. They are a perfect 7-0 when they post an OBP of .513 or better.

The victory snapped Bangor's losing streak at four games and leaves them with a 13-15 record. As for Eau Claire, their loss was their 14th straight on the road dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 0-15.

Bangor has already played their next contest, a 7-3 win against Mendon on the 17th. As for Eau Claire, they also wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next match, a 19-8 defeat against Lawrence on the 10th.
