Baseball Recap: Algoma Comes Up Short

Algoma and Kewaunee pushed the score to 20-19 the last time they played Kewaunee, but on Friday defenses reigned supreme. The Wolves fell 4-0 to the Storm. The Wolves just can't catch a break and have now endured three defeats in a row.

Algoma's loss dropped their record down to 3-8. As for Kewaunee, the win was the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 6-2.

Coming up, Algoma will challenge Howards Grove at 11:30 a.m. on Saturday. As for Kewaunee, they will square off against Two Rivers at 4:30 p.m. on Saturday. The Storm are facing the Purple Raiders at the right time seeing as the Purple Raiders are stuck on a six-game losing streak.
