Blackfoot took care of business in their home opener on Friday. They walked away with a 51-42 victory over the Thunder Ridge Titans. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Broncos also won the last time the pair played back in November of 2024.

Among those leading the charge was Oakley Talbot, who shot 47% from the field to rack up 19 points. Lexi Jackman was another key player, putting up ten points.

Despite the defeat, Thunder Ridge saw an underclassman step up: sophomore Kayla Kunz went 5-for-7 en route to 12 points.

Looking ahead, Blackfoot is packing up and heading out on the road for their first away game of the season: they will square off against Century at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Thunder Ridge, they and Boise will face off at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday without much rest, having both just played.
