Madison came tearing into Friday's game with six straight wins , and they left with even more momentum. They blew past the Southwestern Rebels 3-0. That's more bragging rights for the Cubs, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

The 3-0 score doesn't show just how dominant Madison was: they took every set by at least 16 points. The final score came out to 25-6, 25-8, 25-9.

Kyle Roney paced Madison's offense, picking up seven kills. Roney got some help from Aiden Smith and his 20 assists. Smith was also solid from the service line: he led the team with six aces.

Madison's win was their third straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 11-6. As for Southwestern, their loss dropped their record down to 0-2.

Madison has already played their next matchup, a 3-0 victory against Shawe Memorial on the 28th. As for Southwestern, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 3-0 defeat against Scottsburg on the 30th.
