Basketball Recap: Camron Myers' Big Game Can't Quite Lead White Oak over Person

White Oak and Person squared off in some playoff action on Tuesday, but White Oak had to settle for second. They fell just short of the Person Rockets by a score of 56-54. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest defeat the Vikings have suffered since December 21, 2023.

White Oak's loss came despite a true team effort with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Camron Myers, who almost dropped a double-double with 15 points and nine boards. Aj Strickland was another key player, putting up eight points and three steals.

White Oak's defeat dropped their record down to 17-9. As for Person, the win was the 15th in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 28-2.

White Oak does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Person, they have already played their next match, a 75-43 loss against Swansboro on the 7th.
