Soccer Recap: Austin Takes a Loss

Austin lost against Century back in October of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Packers lost 8-0 to the Panthers. While losing is never fun, Austin can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Minnesota soccer rankings (they are ranked 136th, while Century are ranked 27th).

Austin's loss dropped their record down to 3-9-1. As for Century, the victory was the fourth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 7-1-3.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Austin will challenge Waseca at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Century, they will face off against New Prague at 7:00 p.m. on Monday.
