It was a Battle of the Birds when UME Preparatory Academy faced off against Wilmer-Hutchins on Friday. The EAGLES were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over the Eagles. The victory was nothing new for the EAGLES as they're now sitting on four straight.

Not only was the match a shutout, it was a big one: UME Preparatory Academy took every set by at least ten points. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-12, 25-13, 25-15.

UME Preparatory Academy's win bumped their record up to 7-3-1. As for Wilmer-Hutchins, they have been struggling recently as they've lost nine of their last 12 matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 6-10 record this season.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. UME Preparatory Academy will venture away from home to face off against Temple Christian at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Wilmer-Hutchins, they will head out to challenge Sunset at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
