Flag Football Recap: M.L. King Comes Up Short

Thursday just wasn't the day for M.L. King's offense. They took a 7-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Washington Bulldogs on Thursday. The loss leaves the Lions still looking for their first win of the season.

M.L. King's defeat dropped their record down to 0-7-1. As for Washington, they are on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 6-7-1 record this season.

Coincidentally, M.L. King and Washington will both be playing Midtown the next time they take the field. The Lions will host the Knights at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday, while the Bulldogs will play them later in the day, at 7:30 p.m.
