Football Recap: Calaveras Skates Past River Islands with Ease

While Calaveras put up plenty of points on Friday, the same can't be said for River Islands. The Red Hawks blew past the Riptide 55-0. The result was nothing new for the Red Hawks, who have now won three matchups by 29 points or more so far this season.

The victory made it two in a row for Calaveras and bumps their season record up to 3-2. The wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 59.0 points over those games. As for River Islands, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 1-4.
