Soccer Game Preview: Leesville Road vs. Chapel Hill

The Leesville Road Pride will square off against the Chapel Hill Tigers at 6:30 p.m. on Wednesday. Leesville Road's offense has struggled lately (the team hasn't scored more than a single goal for three straight games), a trend the team is no doubt ready to end.

Leesville Road fell victim to Heritage and their airtight defense on Monday. They took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Huskies.

Meanwhile, Chapel Hill was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They were a single goal away from ending the streak, but they lost a 1-0 heartbreaker at the hands of Heritage. While losing is never fun, the Tigers can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' North Carolina soccer rankings (they are ranked 181st, while the Huskies are ranked 35th).

Chapel Hill's defeat dropped their record down to 0-4-1. As for Leesville Road, they now have a losing record of 2-3-2.
