Basketball Recap: Jackson North Side's Win Ends 17-Game Losing Streak on the Road

Jackson North Side hadn't done well against Liberty Tech Magnet recently (they were 2-7 in their previous nine matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Friday. The Jackson North Side Indians strolled past the Liberty Tech Magnet Crusaders with points to spare, taking the game 36-21. The victory was some much needed relief for the Indians as it spelled an end to their four-game losing streak.

Jackson North Side got their win on the backs of several key players, but it was Jada Vandiver out in front who posted seven points in addition to ten rebounds and five steals. Those ten boards gave Vandiver a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of Azarria Conerly, who put up eight points and five steals.
