League recap: Grosse-Rhode throws longest pass in league this season for Fort Calhoun

Riley Grosse-Rhode and Spencer Shull provided fans with a highlight when they connected against Syracuse. The connection went for 74 yards, the longest such play in C1 District 1 this season.

Arlington was the team that gained the most ground in the standings this week, jumping from fourth to second in the league. Earlier in the week, the Eagles triumphed over Logan View 38-0.

Fort Calhoun's dynamic duo of Grosse-Rhode and Shull proved to be unstoppable against the Rockets, as they were the top passer and receiver in the league this week. Grosse-Rhode threw for 160 yards and Shull had 95 yards receiving. Tyler Pace helped Fort Calhoun's passing attack out by catching 3 balls for 44 yards.

The Pioneers' dynamic duo of Grosse-Rhode and Shull proved tough for Syracuse to stop, as they were the top passer and receiver in the league this week.
