Basketball Recap: Eagle River Comes Up Short

Eagle River was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their 18th straight defeat. They were dealt a 53-12 loss at the hands of the Chugiak Mustangs. The Wolves were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 31-6.

Natalia Molero was Eagle River's leading scorer, having posted six points. Beverly Reed held things down on the boards with ten rebounds.

Eagle River's defeat dropped their record down to 2-20. As for Chugiak, the win was the third in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 12-10.

Eagle River does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Chugiak, they have already played their next match, a 59-54 loss against Service on the 6th.
