Soccer Recap: Loretto Takes a Loss

Loretto was the 7-2 winner over Culleoka when they last played one another back in April of 2024, but their luck changed this time around. The Mustangs took a 4-2 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Warriors on Monday.

Loretto's defeat dropped their record down to 2-5. As for Culleoka, with the win, they broke their three-game losing streak and moved their record to 2-5.

Coming up, Loretto will be playing in front of their home fans against Wayne County at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. Loretto will be up against Wayne County's rather soft defense (which has allowed 5.14 goals per game), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance. As for Culleoka, they will head out to take on Fayetteville at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Culleoka are facing Fayetteville at the right time seeing as Fayetteville are stuck on a seven-game losing streak.
