Del Mar and Willow Glen are an even 3-3-1 against one another since January of 2018, but likely not for long. The Dons will head out on the road to challenge the Rams at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.

Del Mar is coming in off a wild two-game stretch: after soaring to five goals on Saturday, they were much more limited against Westmont on Tuesday. They fell just short of the Warriors by a score of 2-1.

Given Willow Glen's advantage in MaxPreps' California soccer rankings (they are ranked 261st, while Mt. Pleasant are ranked 738th) , the win wasn't entirely unexpected.

Willow Glen's victory bumped their record up to 6-3-3. As for Del Mar, their loss dropped their record down to 7-3-2.
