Baseball Recap: Robstown Takes a Loss

Robstown was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They took a 7-2 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Tuloso-Midway Warriors & Cherokees. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Warriors & Cherokees this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 14-4 back in March.

Robstown's loss dropped their record down to 10-13. As for Tuloso-Midway, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 19-7-1.

Looking ahead, Robstown will venture away from home to square off against King at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The Cottonpickers are facing the Brahmas at the right time seeing as the Brahmas are stuck on a 13-game losing streak. As for Tuloso-Midway, they will be playing at home against Calallen at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The Wildcats will roll in looking for their 24th straight win, something the Warriors & Cherokees surely won't give up without a fight.
