After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Mona Shores, Fruitport was happy to have turned things around on Saturday. They put the hurt on the Kelloggsville Rockets with a sharp 3-0 victory. The win continues a trend for the Trojans in their matchups with the Rockets: they've now won three in a row.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-2, 25-17, 25-9.

Fruitport found their leader in freshman Regan Wilson, who had 13 digs.

Fruitport was lethal from the service line and finished the match with 12 aces. That's the most aces they've posted in their last six matchups.

Fruitport's victory bumped their record up to 24-11-1. As for Kelloggsville, they dropped their record down to 7-16 with the loss, which was their ninth straight at home.

We've got plenty of inter-league action coming up soon. Fruitport will square off against rival Calvin Christian at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday. Meanwhile, Kelloggsville is set to challenge their familiar foe Lee at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday.
