Lodi and Woodcreek squared off in some playoff action on Friday, but Lodi had to settle for second. They lost 9-0 to the Timberwolves. The Flames' defeat signaled the end of their six-game winning streak.

Lodi saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Abby Schweigerdt, who went 1-for-3 with one stolen base.

Lodi's loss dropped their record down to 21-7. As for Woodcreek, they pushed their record up to 23-5 with the victory, which was their tenth straight at home.

Lodi does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Woodcreek, they will take on Whitney at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The two teams have allowed few runs on average (the Timberwolves 2.6, the Wildcats 3.2) so any runs scored will be well earned.
