Basketball Game Preview: Dade County Wolverines vs. Fannin County Rebels

The Dade County Wolverines will head out to challenge the Fannin County Rebels at 8:30 p.m. on Friday. Both come into the matchup bolstered by wins in their previous matches.

Dade County will bounce into Friday's contest after beating Gordon Lee, who they had gone 2-7 against in their nine prior meetings. The Wolverines enjoyed a cozy 65-48 win over the Trojans on Tuesday.

Dade County's victory was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was H Garmany, who dropped a double-double with 20 points and 17 boards. The team also got some help courtesy of Cash Christiansen, who went 7-for-14 to rack up 16 points along with six rebounds and four steals.

Meanwhile, Fannin County strolled into their game on Tuesday with a perfect record and they left with the same. They blew past Gordon Central, posting a 54-22 win. The Rebels have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won three games by 26 points or more this season.

Fannin County's victory bumped their record up to 4-0. As for Dade County, they now have a winning record of 2-1.

Dade County ended up a good deal behind Fannin County in their previous meeting back in February, losing 65-49. Can the Wolverines avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
