Mackinaw City's game on Saturday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Tuesday. Everything went their way against the Alanson Vikings as they made off with an 18-2 win. The contest marked the Comets' most dominant victory of the season.

Mackinaw City's win ended a three-game drought at home and bumped them up to 4-4. As for Alanson, they are on a seven-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-5.

Mackinaw City has already played their next game (against North Michigan Christian Academy), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. As for Alanson, they will take on St. Ignace at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. The Saints have struggled to contain batters this season (they've allowed 8.88 runs per game on average), something the Vikings will no doubt try to take advantage of.
