Volleyball Recap: Trinity Christian Takes a Loss

Trinity Christian lost against Faith Baptist Christian Academy back in August, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Monday. Trinity Christian fell 3-1 to Faith Baptist Christian Academy. Trinity Christian has now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

The defeat didn't mean the game wasn't competitive: Faith Baptist Christian Academy scored at least 17 points in every set. The final score came out to 25-17, 21-25, 25-22, 25-17.

Sydney Lane paced Trinity Christian's offense, picking up 13 kills. Lane were helped by Abby Flattich and Maddie Quick, who contributed ten assists each. Lane was also solid from the service line: she led the team with seven aces.

Trinity Christian's loss dropped their record down to 6-13. As for Faith Baptist Christian Academy, the victory was the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 23-2.

Coming up, Trinity Christian will take on Heritage Christian Academy at 5:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Faith Baptist Christian Academy, they didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 2-0 defeat against Southeast Bulloch on the 23rd.
