Having just played yesterday, the West Hills Wolf Pack will get right back to it and host the El Capitan Vaqueros at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. West Hills is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 62.1 points per game this season.
West Hills is likely headed into the match with a focus on the second half, which is when things went downhill against Valhalla on Monday. West Hills took a 65-52 hit to the loss column at the hands of Valhalla. While the Wolf Pack didn't get the win, they did start the game off strong, beating the Norsemen 13-3 in the first quarter.

Even though the team lost, they still had their share of impressive performances. One of the best came from Malekai Dillon, who posted 13 points and four steals. He is on a roll when it comes to steals, as he's now grabbed four or more in the last three games he's played. Another player making a difference was Ethan Shaw, who had six points in addition to eight assists and seven boards.
Meanwhile, it's never fun to lose, and it's even less fun to lose 67-38, which was the final score in El Capitan's tilt against Rancho Bernardo on Saturday. The Vaqueros have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.
Like El Capitan, they lost despite seeing results from several players. Trevin Curo led the charge by dropping a double-double on 11 points and ten rebounds. The team also got some help courtesy of Chance Smith, who put up six points.
West Hills has traveled a rocky road recently having lost four of their last five contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 3-5 record this season. As for El Capitan, their loss dropped their record down to an identical 3-5.
Rebounding is likely to be a big factor in this contest: West Hills has been smashing the glass this season, having averaged 28.7 rebounds per game. However, it's not like El Capitan struggles in that department as they've been averaging 34.8 boards. With both teams battling to corral missed shots, we'll see if one team can grab an edge.
West Hills couldn't quite finish off El Capitan when the teams last played back in January of 2023 and fell 57-55. Thankfully for West Hills, Micah Odell (who dropped a double-double on 24 points and 15 boards) won't be suiting up this time. Will that be enough to change the final result? There's only one way to find out.
