Little River Academy had already won two in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 17 points) and they went ahead and made it three on Tuesday. They were the clear victor by a 51-26 margin over the Franklin Lions. The Bumblebees have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won 11 contests by 23 points or more this season.

Little River Academy pushed their record up to 19-5 with the win, which was their 13th straight at home dating back to last season. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 56.5 points per game. As for Franklin, their loss ended a four-game streak of away wins and brought them to 15-4.

Little River Academy (ranked 87th) will meet Thrall (ranked 607th) at 6:30 p.m. on Friday. Similarly, Franklin will face off against Groesbeck at 6:00 p.m. on Friday up 907 places (188 vs. 1095).
