Volleyball Game Preview: Itasca Wampus Cats vs. Italy Gladiators

Itasca is 1-9 against Italy since October of 2020 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Friday. The Wampus Cats will head out on the road to square off against the Gladiators at 4:30 p.m.

Itasca lost 3-0 to Rio Vista on Tuesday.

The final score came out to 25-13, 25-19, 25-13.

Meanwhile, Italy came tearing into Friday's match with five straight wins , and they left with even more momentum. Everything went their way against the Yellowjackets as they made off with a 3-0 win.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-15, 25-19, 25-13.

Italy's victory bumped their record up to 19-5. As for Itasca, they now have a losing record of 13-14.

Itasca suffered a grim 3-0 defeat to Italy in their previous meeting on October 7th. Can the Wampus Cats avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
